Tour Location: 120 Gardenville Parkway, West Seneca, NY 14224
Parking: Parking is available in lot across the St. Please enter through the south side of the building.
Dinner Location: Dinner will be served onsite after the tour.
Time: Tour at 5:15 pm (arrive a little early to sign in);
Tour Abstract: UA Local 22 Plumbers and Steamfitters represents three skilled trades; Plumbers, Steamfitters and HVAC/R Service Technicians. Local 22’s geographical jurisdiction spans across eight Western New York counties with a membership comprised of approximately 950 active members, including 148 apprentices. Three Apprenticeship Training Programs are offered. Each is a New York State registered, 5-year Apprenticeship program in which the apprentice is required to complete 1,080 hours of related instruction and 8,000 hours of on the job training.
During your visit, greater detail about our operations, member skills and training will be provided. Additionally, a tour will be provided of Local 22’s new 36,000 sq. ft. training facility, which includes 10 classrooms, 2 welding shops, 3 hands-on work areas, and 2 computer labs.
